Streaming Account Settings
The Settings screen is the best way to customize your account and streaming experience. To get started, select the gear icon. If you're on a mobile device or tablet, the Settings menu can be accessed by tapping the three horizontal lines in the corner of the app window.
Note that not all devices offer all the included settings

Account
From the Account screen, you can review your subscription details, sign out of your account or on select devices, manage your subscription.
Over the Air Channels (AirTV)
To setup or change your AirTV device settings, you will need to use your Android or iOS mobile device. Visit the AirTV Help and How-to page for more information.
Privacy
To update your communication and notifications settings, or to opt-out of information sharing, please visit our Communication Preference Center. If you would like information about how we collect, use and disclose your personal information, please visit our privacy policy.
If you are a California or Nevada resident, you can visit privacy.dish.com to understand your privacy options provided by your state.
DVR
When space is needed for new recordings, your oldest unprotected recordings will be deleted automatically, and your watched recordings will be deleted first. You can use the DVR tab to manage your recordings including protecting recordings from being auto deleted. Learn more about DVR >
Support
Support provides the URL to our Help Center, as well as the app version you are currently using. If you contact our support team for help with streaming issues, they may ask you to access this screen to enable Debug Logging.
Parental Controls
Parental Controls offer the ability to lock content based on rating, or to lock additional in-app purchases such as movie rentals or Pay-Per-View purchases. Find out more about Parental Controls
Connection
The Connection option on the navigation panel can be used to set your maximum streaming bandwidth limit. Quality of video may be impacted by your chosen Mb/s selection.
If you're using an XBOX One console, you can access this screen by selecting Settings then Bandwidth Limiting.
Device & Device Options
The Device navigation option allows you to check which device is actively in use on your Sling account. You can also rename your device, which may be helpful in households where Sling is being used on multiple devices.
You can also login to manage your MY ACCOUNT page to see all of the devices you've used to stream using the Sling TV app. Select Device List to check or sign out of all devices.
Closed Captions
Closed Captions is beneficial to change the style, size or type of subtitles you would like to use while streaming. Learn the details on how to enable or disable closed captions >>
