8-270 errors occur when our systems fail to get the appropriate information from your device. If you receive this error, it's typically resolved within 24 hours, however, if one is available, we recommend using a different device during this time.

Try a different channel
- If the error only occurs on the original channel, please contact us
Check to see if another app on the same device is experiencing any errors or similar issues.
- Unfortunately it looks like things aren't working quite right on your device right now, try using another device with the SLING TV application on it so you can continue watching right now
- If the SLING app works on another device, there may be an issue with your device. Please call your device’s manufacturer for further assistance
- If Sling app does not work on another device, theremay be an issue related to your account. Please contact us so our team of technical specialists can investigate the issue
