Error Code 6-9
6-9 errors are usually caused by server problems or a problem with the actual video content on the server.
We want to get you back to watching as quickly as possible, so try the steps listed below to resolve this error.

Sometimes there is just a bug in the system and it needs a chance to reset. Give it a few minutes and then try again.
Most interruptions in streaming are temporary, but relaunching the Sling TV app or restarting your streaming device will often resolve temporary glitches.
Turn your device off & back on again, or follow device specific restart instructions. Click on the link below to view device specific troubleshooting steps
Check to see if another app on the same device is experiencing any errors or similar issues.
- Unfortunately it looks like things aren't working quite right on your device right now, try using another device with the Sling TV application on it so you can continue watching right now
- If the Sling app works on another device, there may be an issue with your device. Please call your device’s manufacturer for further assistance
- If Sling app does not work on another device, there may be an issue related to your account. Please contact us so our team of technical specialists can investigate the issue
If you’re unable to resolve the error using the other steps listed above, please take note of the following information before contacting us:
When the error occurred (when selecting a show, in the middle of watching, etc.)
What type of program you were watching (live, on-demand, DVR recording)
What device you were using (browser, mobile app, streaming device)
