Forgot Password
If you're having trouble signing in to your Sling TV account, make sure you're entering the email address you used when signing up.
Before resetting your password, please note the following IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- You must be signed out of your Sling account in order to successfully reset your password. Go to sling.com/my-account to confirm you are not signed in.
- For security reasons, after five (5) unsuccessful attempts are made to sign in to your account, it will be locked for 30 minutes. However, you can reset your password and immediately unlock your account following the reset directions below.

There are two options to help you quickly reset your password so that you can resume your Sling streaming activities. Simply click on the option of your choice below and follow the password reset instructions:
To reset your password, click on the Chat icon on your screen to launch our Chatbot.
Once the new window has opened, type "Password" and the Chatbot will give you a short list of options to choose from. Select, "Forgot Password" and follow the prompts and you will be sent an email like the one shown below.
NOTE: You will typically receive this email within moments, but it can take up to 15 minutes to arrive.
Once you click on the "Reset Password" button in the email, a browser window will open with a prompt to enter and confirm a new password. Your password must be a minimum of eight (8) characters in length in order to confirm the password change.
If your new password meets the minimum requirements, you will receive a notice on the screen letting you know that your password was updated successfully.
Click on the Sign In button to login with your new password, or go to sling.com/my-account
Didn't Receive an Email?
- If you don’t receive the password reset email and it's been 15 minutes, double-check that your email was entered correctly and request the reset again
- Also try manually refreshing your email inbox
- Check your junk mail folder and any spam filters to make sure the email isn’t being sent elsewhere. Additionally, try adding sling@slingemail.com to your email contacts
- If you received the password reset email, and the link is taking you to your My Account page and asking for your current password before setting up new login details, select Sign Out, then request the password reset again
- If you continue to experience problems, close all open browser windows and clear your browser cache >
To reset your password by email, start by visiting sling.com/my-account and then click on the "Forgot Your Password" link underneath the Sign In button as seen below.
Enter your login email address into the required field and then click the Submit button.
