Error Code 8-1541
The 8-1541 error is a known issue we're continuing to research.
Please try the following steps to resolve this issue:
- Make sure your device is using the latest operating system. Check your device's instructions for details on how to check for updates
- Additionally, make sure to install the latest version of the Sling TV app
- If you're using a cellular data connection, try connecting to a WiFi network to see if this can resolve the issue
If you're still receiving the error after trying these steps, we would like to gather more data from your end. Please chat with us, and include the device you're using to stream, the name of your mobile provider, and whether you have unlimited or capped data.
If you’re unable to resolve the error using the other steps listed above, please take note of the following information before contacting us:
When the error occurred (when selecting a show, in the middle of watching, etc.)
What type of program you were watching (live, on-demand, DVR recording)
What device you were using (browser, mobile app, streaming device)
