What LG Models Are Compatible?
This feature is available on all 2020 LG Smart TV models.
How Do I Add OTA Channels?
If you own a compatible LG TV model, a simple setup process and one-time channel scan will allow you to integrate OTA programming right into your Sling TV guide.
Before beginning, if you haven’t already, make sure the Sling TV app is installed on your TV. Find additional tips to download and install Sling TV at the end of this article.
Start by connecting your antenna to the available coaxial connection on the TV. Make sure you have a tight connection.
Location and position of coaxial connection may vary depending on your TV.
From there, on your LG TV, use your remote to launch Settings
Select All Settings > Channels > Channel Tuning > Auto Tuning
Your TV will automatically begin scanning for available channels (the channel scan may take a few minutes)
Once the scan is complete, launch Sling TV
You’ll see a confirmation message that your OTA channels have been added
With your compatible LG TV model, your local channels should now automatically populate in your guide alongside your regular Sling TV content. You’ll also be able to add your local channels to your favorites for easy access.
There you have it; a fully integrated Sling channel guide with your antenna locals!
