Some of the advertisements you see on SLING TV are based on your viewing behavior on SLING and tailored to your interests. These types of advertisements are commonly referred to as interest-based or targeted advertising.
If you no longer wish to see these types of ads, you can opt out of the targeted advertising shown to you by SLING either through your device, on the web, or through the SLING app in many cases. On select devices, you can also reset tailored advertising by resetting the advertising identifier.
It’s important to note that opting out of targeted advertising does not mean that you will no longer see commercials and advertisements on SLING. Opting out means that SLING will no longer show you these tailored advertisements. We also provide your preferences to our programming partners so that they no longer target you with tailored advertising.
