How Do I Authenticate my Subscription in the MLB app?
First, you’ll need to create an account on MLB.com. Once you sign in to your MLB.com account, select Sling as your TV provider, and sign in with your Sling credentials.
Does MLB.TV Include Playoffs?
No. To watch MLB Playoff games on ESPN and TBS/ TNT, subscribe to Sling Orange. To watch games on FOX or NBC, subscribe to Sling Blue (in select markets).
Are Road Games Considered Out-Of-Market?
The confusion is understandable, but no. Whether your local team is playing at home or on the road, they will not be available on MLB.TV.

How to Record Games on MLB.TV

2) You can also set your DVR to only record specific teams and games with DVR Free. Just select any game from the Sports on Sling row or in the guide to schedule recordings. DVR storage rules apply for DVR Free (50 hours) customers.
Do I Have to Use Sling To Access Games on MLB.TV?
You can use both the Sling app and the MLB app to watch games, just be sure to authenticate your subscription in the MLB app before accessing your content. You can also watch additional live sports on Sling.
Can I Watch Nationally-Televised MLB Games With Sling?
Yes! Here are the channels that carry MLB game available with Sling:
NBC (Sling Select and Blue in Designated Markets)
For the first time in 25 years, NBC will carry MLB baseball. The season kicks off with a double-header on Opening Day, and Sunday Night Baseball will arrive later in the season.
FOX (Sling Select and Blue in Designated Markets)
While the schedule varies week-to-week, FOX games typically air on Thursday night, Saturday afternoon, and/ or Saturday night. FOX will also be the home of the 2026 World Series and All-Star Game.
FS1 (Sling Select and Sling Blue)
As a sister channel to FOX, FS1 typically airs games on Saturday afternoons, Monday nights, and Wednesday nights.
TBS (Sling Orange or Blue)
TBS will have a weekly MLB game on Tuesday nights. It will also be home to the ALDS and ALCS in the lead up to the World Series.
MLB Network (Sports Extras Pack)
MLB Network will also have multiple games weekly, mostly on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.
Streaming Channels
For even more MLB baseball, subscribe to Apple TV+ for a Friday night game (or two), and Netflix will have the Opening Night game between the Yankees and Giants, the Home Run Derby, and “Field of Dreams” game. Peacock will also have a handful of exclusive games.
