With Michigan, Ohio State, and Indiana having claimed the last three CFP national championships, the Big Ten is the class of college football…and we haven’t even mentioned the west coast powerhouses Oregon, USC, Washington, and UCLA. Because of this, Big Ten football is spread across a multitude of networks: FOX, CBS, and NBC will be carrying nationally-televised games, and Big Ten Network will carry regular season matchups as well. This season, fans can expect to see FOX games in their traditional Big Noon game at 12pm ET, CBS games in the 3:30pm ET window, and primetime games on CBS and NBC, under Big Ten Saturday Night.

The 2026 college football season marks a new beginning for the Mountain West conference. Five schools – Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and Utah State – bolted for the newly reconfigured Pac-12 conference (more on that below). Meanwhile, four new teams have joined the conference: UTEP, Hawaii, North Dakota State, and Northern Illinois. Those teams join six schools who have been a core of the Mountain West: Air Force, Nevada, New Mexico, San Jose State, UNLV, and Wyoming.

With conference realignment comes a new media deal featuring Mountain West football on FOX Sports, CBS Sports, and The CW Network. Following a two year stint in college sports purgatory, the Pac-12 has reemerged ahead of the 2026 season.
