NBA League Pass on Sling TV: Stream out-of-market games all season long

Get up to 40 out–of-market games per week for just $16.99/mo with NBA League Pass on Sling.

Sweater weather is here, and the porch pumpkins are back. If you follow basketball, that means the NBA is about to tip off. NBA League Pass and NBA Team Pass are now on sale through Sling. Add one and you'll get out-of-market games from opening night on October 20 through the last day of the regular season on April 12. Here's how to add NBA League Pass or NBA Team Pass to your Sling account.

What is NBA League Pass?

NBA League Pass lets you watch out-of-market games for every non-local team in the league, all season long. You can follow your favorite out-of-market team, and you can also jump to wherever the league's biggest story is happening that night. Is the best game of the night not on national TV? Stream it anyway. Want to watch your rival lose a close one on the road? NBA League Pass won't ask questions.

NBA Team Pass works the same way, but for one team. Do you live in Denver and cheer for the Los Angeles Lakers? Moved to LA and still love the Boston Celtics? Are you a San Antonio Spurs fan in New York City? NBA Team Pass covers all of you. If your favorite team plays in a different market from where you live, NBA Team Pass brings their games to you.

What is included in NBA League Pass?

NBA League Pass puts more live basketball on your screen than any other option, with up to 40 out-of-market games every week, at home or on the go. You also get live radio calls for every NBA game.

Blackout restrictions apply. You can't use NBA League Pass or NBA Team Pass to watch your local team. Nationally televised games are blacked out on NBA League Pass too. You can watch many of those games with Sling instead: ESPN is on Sling Essentials or Sling Orange, and NBC and ABC are on Sling Select or Sling Blue in designated markets. Games on Peacock and Amazon Prime Video are not available with Sling. To get the most NBA action on Sling for our best price, subscribe to Sling Essentials & Select and add NBA League or NBA Team Pass.

How much is NBA League Pass?

NBA League Pass with Sling costs $16.99/mo, billed monthly, so you don't pay for the whole season at once. Watch your games in the Sling app, or sign in to the NBA app with your Sling credentials to watch there.

NBA Team Pass costs $13.99/mo and covers one out-of-market team. It won't work for the team in your local broadcast market. To watch your local team, check that team's website, because Sling doesn't carry regional sports networks.

How to watch NBA League Pass or Team Pass with Sling

To add NBA League Pass or NBA Team Pass, go to Sling's NBA page and add it to your cart at checkout. NBA League Pass gets you up to 40 out-of-market games a week. Pair it with Sling Orange to add the national games on ESPN, or with Sling Essentials & Select or Sling Orange & Blue to get ESPN plus NBC and ABC in designated markets. NBA Team Pass covers only the team you choose, and only if that team is outside your local market. For more ways to catch every tip-off, see our guide to how to watch the NBA live with Sling.

What games does NBA League Pass exclude?

NBA League Pass covers only out-of-market games, so your local team isn't included. National games on ESPN, ABC, and NBC are also left out, but you can watch them with the right Sling plan, depending on your market. Streaming-only games on Amazon Prime Video and Peacock are not available with Sling.

NBA League Pass and NBA Team Pass are on sale now, but preseason games aren't included. Playoff games aren't included either. Your subscription covers the regular season only.
