NBA Finals on Sling: How to Watch, Schedule and More
The NBA will crown a new champion: the Milwaukee Bucks or the Phoenix Suns. Here's the NBA Finals schedule and how to watch on Sling.
The NBA season is down to its last two teams. It will either be the Year of the Deer or Fun in the Valley of the Sun.
The Milwaukee Bucks will play the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Finals, which begin tonight, July 6, at 9pm ET. This will be the third Finals appearance for both teams: Milwaukee won their only championship in 1971 with Lew Alcindor (aka Kareem Abdul-Jabar); the Hall of Famer also led them to the 1974 Finals where they lost to the Boston Celtics. The Suns made their first Finals appearance two years later in 1976, when they lost to, you guessed it, John Havlicek and the Celtics. Their most recent trip to the Finals was in 1993, when they lost to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in six games.
That means one of these two teams will be a first-time champion, making them one of just four NBA teams to earn their first ‘chip since the turn of the millennium. Game 1 of the Finals is tonight, and you can catch the entire series on Sling Orange via ESPN3.
