No. 20 Tennessee at Florida

Saturday, Nov 22 at 7:30pm ET on ABC/ESPN3

Yes, we have the 3-7 Florida Gators featured as one of the top games this week. Why? Because the FloridaTennessee rivalry is one of those matchups you just can’t miss. Tennessee isn’t going to make the College Football Playoff, and as we mentioned, it’s a lost season for the Gators. But for a game that is typically played on the “Third Saturday in September,” this matchup is lacking juice. Florida showed a lot of fight last weekend, giving Ole Miss a tougher game than Lane Kiffin wanted. The Vols are coming off an easy win against New Mexico State. Tennessee won the game last year in overtime and is only a 4-Howpoint favorite this time around. The offense is the best in the SEC, averaging over 495 yards per game. The problem is the defense, which ranks in the bottom three of the conference. Florida will be looking for a new head coach this offseason, but DJ Lagway and Gators fans would love to beat Tennessee in a season they’ll otherwise want to forget.

Chris Brazzell II - WR, Tennessee - Earlier this week Chris Brazzell II was announced as a Biletnikoff semi-finalist, the award given to the nation's top wide receiver. It's no surprise. Brazzell has 52 catches for 873 yards and eight touchdowns on the season. Tennessee has an explosive offense and Brazzell is a big part of that. Given his candidacy for the prestigious honor, we could see Brazzell being a big focus of the Volunteers’ offense in Florida on Saturday.

DJ Lagway - QB, Florida - In an otherwise lost season for the Gators, QB DJ Lagway still has a lot to play for. Specifically, his future as an NFL prospect. While he won’t be eligible until the 2027 draft class, Lagway will still be under heavy scrutiny from pro scouts. Specifically, they are likely looking to how he handles the adversity that Florida has gone through this season. Even if he has another season to fully prove his merit, a win over the Volunteers would help demonstrate some of the poise that is a hallmark of top NFL QBs.

Odds For Tennessee at Florida

Tennessee is a 4-point favorite over the Gators, according to DraftKings. The over/under for the matchup is set at 57.5 points.
