The United States, which won a thrilling quarterfinal over Venezuela before hammering Cuba in the semifinal on Sunday, will take on Japan, which won an instant classic against Mexico on Monday thanks to a walk-off double in the bottom of the 9th inning. After winning it all in the most recent WBC tournament in 2017, the U.S. will be angling for its second consecutive trophy. Japan, which won the first two WBC tournaments, looks to hoist the trophy for the first time since 2009.

How do I Stream the World Baseball Classic Final?

The final will air on FS1, which is available to all Sling Blue or Orange + Blue subscribers. Coverage beings at 7pm ET, live from loanDepot Park in Miami.

For the U.S., Arizona Diamondbacks ace Merrill Kelly will get the start. In Kelly’s last start against Columbia, he gave up two runs on four hits, while posting one strikeout in three innings of work. Japan’s starter – Shōta Imanaga – was somewhat of a surprise choice, given that their roster includes Anaheim Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani, who has not pitched since March 16. But Japan manager Hideki Kuriyama apparently needs Ohtani’s bat more than his arm, as the two-way player will start the game as designated hitter. He could, however, come in for relief later in the game, something he hasn’t done in the MLB.

What are the Betting Odds for the World Baseball Classic Final?

According to current DraftKings odds, the U.S. is the moneyline favorite, coming in with -130 odds, compared to Japan’s +110 line, while the over/ under for total runs is set at 10.
