2026 MLB Postseason Schedule and How to Watch With Sling
Your guide to streaming every round of the 2026 MLB playoffs, from the Division Series to the World Series
The 2026 MLB League Championship Series features a Goliath and three Davids. The Los Angeles Dodgers are back in the NLCS for the third year in a row and the 8th time in the past 11 seasons. The Dodgers have now made the postseason in 14 straight years, tying the Braves for the longest streak of all-time. The other three teams are loading up their slingshots to take down this giant (apologies to Dodgers fans for comparing you to a Giant). First up is the Milwaukee Brewers, which has home field advantage in the NLCS. On the American League side, the top-seeded Tampa Bay Rays emerged on top of perhaps the best division in baseball, and swept their AL East rival New York Yankees in three games to reach the ALCS. They face the late-blooming Cleveland Guardians, who dug themselves out of a 0-2 hole against the Chicago White Sox to make their second ALCS appearance in three years.
Both series should be a delicious appetizer to what promises to be another thrilling World Series, regardless of who makes it. Here’s a preview of both series, plus full details on how to watch all remaining 2026 MLB Postseason games with Sling.

After losing seven straight postseason games to the Dodgers – including two straight series sweeps – it didn't take long for the Brewers to prove that this year will be different. In Game 1 on Sunday, the Brewers scored two runs on Dodgers’ ace Tarik Skubal to pull off a grinding 2-1 victory. This is a great omen for Brewers fans but it shouldn’t come as a shock. The Brewers not only finished with the best record in baseball this season, they had the best run differential and took 4-of-7 games from the Dodgers during the regular season. With a franchise-best 103 wins in 2026, plus home field advantage over the Dodgers, Milwaukians are starting to feel like this could be a team of destiny.
Such superstitions are beyond the scope of the Dodgers. The winners of the past two World Series and 13 of the last 14 NL West division titles, LA doesn’t need luck, good fortune, or any supernatural charm to cinch their place as the best team in a generation. With a roster that includes some of the best hitters (Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts), pitchers (Blake Snell, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and trade-deadline pickup Tarik Skubal), and hitting pitchers (the one-and-only Shohei Ohtani), the Dodgers are competing both on the diamond and in the imaginations of baseball historians, who could place them as one of the most dominant teams in the game’s century-plus history. In truth, the Dodgers’ biggest fear is probably a 2027 MLB stoppage that places a hard cap on their seemingly bottomless payroll. Ironically, a World Series win from one of the three other teams would be the strongest argument in favor of keeping the status quo, so even if the Dodgers lose this battle, it could help them in the coming labor war.

While Dodgers-Brewers is undoubtedly the more glamorous series, the Guardians and Rays series could end up being more compelling. The Rays are a model team for most of the MLB; despite their top players consistently getting shipped to the league’s biggest spenders, Tampa Bay is once again the last team standing in the AL East, a division that sent one team to the World Series last year and three more to the postseason this year. The Yankees entered their series as the AL favorite and left humiliated after dropping three straight games. The Rays’s accomplishment at outlasting their big money division rivals can’t be overstated.
The Guardians' season might be even more impressive. At less than $75 million, they have the lowest payroll in the entire MLB (more than $20 million less than the Rays, who ranked 28th overall). Yet the Guardians are back in the ALCS for the second time in three seasons. The Rays have never won a World Series (they lost in 2008 and 2020), and the Guardians currently have the longest title drought in the MLB at 77 years. The Brewers also have never won a World Series (their last appearance was all the way back in 1982), meaning that there’s a better than average chance that this will be a historic World Series win, regardless of who claims it (even the Dodgers are chasing history as potentially just the third team ever to three-peat).
