Watch New Episodes of ‘Love It or List It’ with Sling TV
With season 21 of the long-running HGTV hit ‘Love It or List It’ premiering on June 23, here are a few fun facts about the hosts of the show.
To buy or not to buy.
That is the question at the heart of the long-running hit Love It or List It, which returns for its 21st season Tuesday, June 23 at 8 PM ET on HGTV. For those new to the neighborhood, the premise of the show is that, at the same time a homeowner’s current residence undergoes a remodel, they shop around and look at potential new homes to buy. At the end of each episode, the homeowners must decide if they love their new remodel enough to stay, or if they want to list the newly freshened up home and move into one of the houses they saw.
As HGTV shows go, it’s an irresistible premise, since it gives viewers a “big reveal” when the remodel is unveiled, as well as an up-close look at tempting real estate investments. Add on a playful reality competition angle via the show’s hosts – real estate agent David Visentin and his designer foe Page Turner – and you have a formula for a show that has stood the test of time; 20+ seasons and over 250 episodes…and counting.

As for their new season, fans can expect 12 new episodes in season 21. According to HGTV, in the season premiere, “the lone woman in a family of five is stretched for space and patience in her three-bedroom, one-bathroom home, and she hopes David can deliver an abode with enough room for the whole family. However, her husband believes their house has plenty of square footage for Page’s creative vision to come to life and convince her to stay.” Future episodes will focus on everyone from “growing families to empty nesters, and even a couple that has never lived in their home before.”
Whether you’re already sold on the show or need a quick guided tour, here’s a look at a few fun facts about both David and Page.
David Visentin Fun Facts: Triathlons, Terror, and Television
You could say David Visentin owes his entire television career to a little bit of sibling networking. His sister was working for the W Network in Toronto when she convinced him to try out for a real estate agent audition they were holding. The gamble paid off handsomely. Even with a packed filming schedule, the two still close real estate deals together today—and David isn't above hitting the dance club with her on occasion to celebrate a successful closing.
When he isn't busy on camera or negotiating contracts, Visentin is pushing his body to the absolute brink. He’s a fiercely dedicated athlete who trains four to five days a week for triathlons and competitively swims in US Masters Swimming. But don't think he's just about physical endurance. He's also a massive Stephen King fan, estimating that he has torn through between 50 and 60 of the horror master's books.
Page Turner Fun Facts: Literally Born for the Job
On the other side of the screen, Page Turner commands attention with a name that feels destined for the spotlight. That wasn't an accident. Her mother, an aspiring author, desperately wanted her daughter to be a literal "Page Turner." Since "Paige" wasn't exactly topping the baby name charts back in the 1970s, her mother convinced her father to agree to the pun by combining the "PA" from her own name (Patricia) with the "GE" from his (Gene).
Despite her sharp eye for picking out winning properties, her local geography was a little rusty when she first arrived in Toronto to film Love It or List It. While spending time down by Lake Ontario, she genuinely mistook the massive body of water for an ocean—until David stepped in to correct her.
Funnily enough, her career trajectory perfectly tracks her own DNA. Page feels a deeply personal connection to her HGTV shows because the filming locations map directly onto her family tree. Her first show took her to Nashville, where her dad is from. Her second show was set in Los Angeles, where she was born and raised. Finally, Love It or List It brought her to Toronto, her mother’s home town.
