Great Outdoors Month
June is Great Outdoors Month, a time to celebrate the unique beauty of America’s National Park system. With more than 400 parks spanning 84 million acres across all 50 states, there’s plenty of ground to cover. In that spirit, GoTraveler is featuring programming like Wonders of America’s National Parks, Wild National Parks, and Secrets of the National Parks every weekday from 3pm to 7pm ET. For an even wilder experience, go visit a National Park, take out your phone, and watch GoTraveler on the go with Sling Free.
Remembering Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain was less a celebrity chef than an endlessly inquisitive artist-philosopher. To honor his memory, GoTraveler will be airing marathons of his first show, Anthony Bourdain: A Cook’s Tour throughout June. You can catch episodes of his breakout series, which first aired from 2002 to 2003, all day on weekends throughout June, and on Anthony Bourdain Day, June 25.
Go Global
Rick Steves is America’s foremost authority on European travel. Get tips for your next Euro trip with episodes of Rick Steves’ Europe, public television’s most-watched, longest-running travel series. Going to Australia? Check out Jason Down Under, which includes visits to Sydney, Brisbane, Tasmania, and more. And for a jaunt through the most exotic locales in the world, check out Welcome to My Strange City, in which journalist Alexandra Alevêque meets those with addresses in the “coldest, warmest, highest, most humid, and most densely populated cities in the world.”
