When are the Presidential Debates?

**The first Presidential debate in June**was somewhat of a wash given that President Joe Biden has since decided not to continue his campaign. With Vice President Kamala Harris having accepted the Democratic nomination, anticipation is high for her first debate with former President Trump.

That debate will take place at 7:00 pm ET on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from the National Constitutional Center in Philadelphia, PA, one of the election’s key swing states. That debate will air on ABC (available with Sling Blue in select markets), and ABC News Live (available on Sling Freestream). World News Tonight anchor and managing editor David Muir and ABC News Live’s Linsey Davis will moderate the debate.

Although Trump has claimed, per USA Today, that “we’d like to do three debates”, right now, the Sept. 10 debate is the only Presidential debate that both candidates have agreed to. However, Vice Presidential candidates Tim Walz and JD Vance have agreed to debate Tuesday, Oct. 1. That will air on CBS News 24/7 and CBS (which Sling does not carry) and will be moderated by CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Norah O'Donnell and Face the Nation moderator and CBS News chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan.

If more presidential or vice presidential debates are announced, we’ll update this post.

When Are the Presidential Town Halls?

Trump will have a Town Hall that airs on FOX News on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Outside of that, there are no additional Town Halls currently scheduled for FOX News, CNN, or MSNBC.
