Complete Guide to Watching 'Power' With Sling
With the original and its spin-offs on Starz, plus select episodes on Sling Freestream, Sling has the Power. Here's your complete guide to the series and how to watch with Sling.
The great Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky once said, “Power is given only to those who dare to lower themselves and pick it up.” We assume he was referring to the popular Starz show Power and its many spin-offs. Since premiering in the summer of 2014, Power has become one of the signature franchises on cable, and helped transform executive producer and star 50 Cent into a literal power player in the world of TV.
Between the 63 episodes of the original series and the 11 seasons and counting of its spin-off shows, there’s a lot of Power to get a hold of. That’s where we, your Power brokers, come in (last one, we promise). Here’s a complete guide to the world of Power on Sling, plus how to watch select episodes free with Sling Freestream. Upcoming Series - Power: Legacy and Power: Origins
Although both series are still in the early stages of development, Deadline recently reported that there are two new Power spin-off shows in the works. Power: Origins went into development first, and it’s expected to follow the early years of Power favorites Ghost and Tommy. Because the series could take place in the same time period as Raising Kanan, there’s speculation that Raising Kanan’s fifth and final season could serve as a jumping-off point for the new show. The other new series would take place at the opposite end of the Power timeline, with present-day Tommy linking up with Ghost’s son Tariq in a show that will “follow the events of Force” according to Deadline.
