Watch Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles in London with Sling
Watch the Jaguars and Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on NFL Network, Sunday, October 11 at 9:30 AM ET, with Sling Select, Blue, or Orange & Blue.
For most of the last decade, the most impressive thing about the Philadelphia Eagles has been the five big guys standing in front of the quarterback. This week, two of them left the building — Lane Johnson to retirement, Cam Jurgens to Baltimore for a handful of picks — and now the Birds fly to London to face a Jacksonville Jaguars team that suddenly looks like the most complete roster in the AFC. The two meet at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, October 11, in a game that airs on NFL Network (for the rest of the Week 5 NFL calendar, check out our ultimate guide to watching football with Sling).
Jacksonville is the designated home team — its home-away-from-home, really, since this is the first of back-to-back London games for the Jags. Here's a full Jaguars vs. Eagles preview, plus the rest of the 2026 NFL International Series schedule. Jaguars vs. Eagles preview: what to expect in London
This is the ninth regular-season meeting between the franchises, and Philadelphia owns a 5-3 edge in the all-time series. But this season, the records point the other way. Jacksonville enters at 3-1 with a two-game win streak and a +51 point differential; Philadelphia sits at 2-2, losers of two straight after a 27-7 loss to the Chicago Bears and a 24-20 collapse against the Los Angeles Rams, in which they blew a 10-point lead in the final four minutes. Oddsmakers noticed: the Eagles are road underdogs by as many as seven points, a spot they haven't been in for years.
Then there's the clock. A 9:30 AM ET kickoff is breakfast football for the East Coast and a pre-dawn alarm for anyone out West. (Coffee is the new Gatorade for West Coast viewers).
Why the Jacksonville Jaguars’ balanced system will win

The Jaguars don't have an obvious hole. Under second-year head coach Liam Coen, the Jaguars are averaging 26 points per game, converting more than 51% of their third downs, and, most impressive of all, they’ve scored on every single red zone trip this season. The defense is just as stingy where it counts: second in the league in scoring defense at 13.3 points allowed per game, first in interceptions with six, and a +6 turnover differential. The Jags have outscored opponents 61-9 in first halves — the widest margin in the NFL — which is a polite way of saying games are often over by the time the halftime show starts.
Yes, the Jags sit just 26th in total yards allowed. But they bend without breaking, and they haven't given up more than 20 points in 10 straight regular-season games. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is completing over 69% of his passes with eight touchdowns against two picks, and he's coming off his first-ever win over Joe Burrow in a 22-17 road victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. Running back Bhayshul Tuten (277 yards) keeps the offense honest, and a defensive front with 10 sacks gets a very appealing matchup: an Eagles offensive line that's been rebuilt 72 hours before kickoff.
Eagles offensive line changes: Lane Johnson retires and Cam Jurgens is traded
For Philly fans, it's been a week (isn’t it always?). On Tuesday, All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson retired four games into his 14th season, which he had already announced would be his last. His abrupt retirement ended a run that anchored two Super Bowl champions and paved the way for Saquon Barkley's historic 2024 campaign. Then on Wednesday, Eagles GM Howie Roseman traded Pro Bowl interior lineman Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2027 fifth-rounder and a 2028 second-rounder. Left guard Landon Dickerson is already on injured reserve with a knee injury.
The projected starting line for London: Jordan Mailata at left tackle, Willie Lampkin at left guard, Drew Kendall at center, Tyler Steen at right guard, and rookie Markel Bell at right tackle. That's three positions that look different from Week 1 — and it's all happening in the first season without longtime line coach Jeff Stoutland. Philadelphia has already allowed 12 sacks, and the Jaguars rank 11th in pressure rate.

Outside of the 49ers, no NFC franchise deserves more benefit of the doubt. The Eagles have reloaded on the fly for two decades, and quarterback Jalen Hurts (seven touchdowns, three interceptions) is at his most dangerous when the game gets ugly and he can make plays with his legs. A clean, quick-game plan — short drops, play-action, Hurts on the move — can neutralize Jacksonville's pass rush long enough for the new guys up front to find their footing.
Getting healthy helps, too. Barkley and DeVonta Smith have both been dealing with hamstring injuries, and linebacker Zack Baun and cornerback Quinyon Mitchell are among several defenders listed as questionable. If even half of that group suits up, this is a much different team than the one that went 0-for-12 on third downs against the Rams. And Philadelphia leaves for London on Friday after a full week of practice at home — a bet that rest beats acclimation.
Jaguars vs. Eagles prediction and odds
On paper, Jacksonville is the steadier team — better in the red zone, better on third down, better at taking the ball away. Philadelphia is the more talented team still trying to figure out who it is, now with a line it's never played behind. Expect the Jaguars to attack early, test Bell and Kendall with pressure, and try to bury the Eagles before halftime. The Birds' best shot is to keep it close and let Hurts win it late.
Score projection: Jaguars 27, Eagles 20.
Odds Via DraftKings:
Spread: Eagles - 7.5 (-118); Jaguars +7.5 (-102)
Over/Under: O 41.5 (-112); U 41.5 (-108)
