NBA All-Star Weekend is set for Friday, Feb. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 15. There are a number of changes for this year’s festivities, starting with the channel that will carry the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, which is scheduled to begin at 5pm ET on Feb. 15. 2026 NBA All-Star Game Roster and Format

This year’s NBA All-Star Game will feature an all-new format. Inspired by the globalization of the league, the 2026 NBA All-star Game will see U.S. stars take on a group of All-Stars from around the world.
That’s not the only change. The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will be a round-robin tournament with three teams (two U.S. squads and one team of international players) squaring off in four 12-minute games. Following the three round-robin games, the two best teams will advance to the championship round (if all teams are tied 1-1, point differential will be used to determine who advances).

NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
NBA All-Star Weekend gets underway with the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday, Feb. 13 at 7pm ET on ESPN. Follow this link for a full look at the roster.
NBA All-Star Saturday is scheduled to begin at 5pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 14, live on NBC. The fan-favorite events include the Shooting Stars, the 3-Point Contents, and the Dunk Contest. Here’s a closer look at each competition:
Shooting Stars
After an 11-year hiatus, the NBA is bringing back the Shooting Stars competition for the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend. Per the NBA, here’s the format:
“Shooting Stars will feature a two-round format, with all four teams competing in the first round and the top two advancing to the final round. Teams will compete one at a time and have 1:10 to score points while rotating through seven designated shooting locations around the court, with all three players on a team shooting at each spot in a set order. The team with the higher score in the final round will be crowned the champion.”
Per the NBA, here’s a look at the four teams:
Team All-Star: Toronto Raptors guard-forward Scottie Barnes and Oklahoma City Thunder forward-center Chet Holmgren, 2026 NBA All-Star Game teammates, are joined by three-time NBA All-Star Richard Hamilton.
Team Cameron: Three Duke University alums who starred at Cameron Indoor Stadium team up – 2026 NBA All-Star Jalen Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks, Castrol Rising Star Kon Knueppel of the Charlotte Hornets and former 14-year NBA veteran Corey Maggette.
Team Harper: Five-time NBA champion Ron Harper Sr. pairs up with his sons, San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper and Boston Celtics guard-forward Ron Harper Jr.
Team Knicks: New York Knicks teammates Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, both 2026 NBA All-Stars, compete with Allan Houston, who made two NBA All-Star teams with New York and now serves as its Vice President of Player Leadership & Development.
3-Point Contest
Five 2026 NBA All-Stars will be competing in the 3-Point Contest, which is the first event of All-Star Saturday. Here’s a full look at the eight-player field:
