NCAA® Men's National Championship: How to Stream UConn vs. Purdue With Sling

The big dogs at UConn are looking to go back-to-back while Zach Edey and Purdue want a shot at redemption. Here's how to stream the NCAA® Men's National Championship with Sling.

Like its counterpart on the women’s side, the NCAA® Men’s Basketball championship game will see the nation’s best player going against the best team.

In the Final Four®, UConn again showcased their incredible depth, pulling away from a surprisingly tight battle with Alabama to win 86-72. In the NCAA men's national championship – Monday, April 8, 9:20pm ET on TBS – the Huskies can become just the second team in the last 30 years to win back-to-back championships. They’ll face Purdue and their star center Zach Edey, who proved his worth as the AP Player of the Year by scoring 20 points and grabbing 12 rebounds while playing all 40-minutes of the Boilermaker’s 63-50 win over NC State.

Here's a closer look at the game, along with details on how to stream it live with Sling.

Nothing speaks to Zach Edey’s dominance like the fact his 20-12 stat-line was his “worst” of the tournament. In the four games prior to Saturday, Edey was averaging 30 and 16. The similarities between Edey and Iowa flamethrower Caitlin Clark are striking, as both two-time player of the year winners look to make up for last season's disappointing finishes in the final game of their college careers. While Purdue would obviously love Edey to return to his early tournament numbers, more than anything else, the Boilermakers will need to continue to shoot the 3-ball often and accurately to win, “the [game] we’ve been talking about all year,” as Edey called it.

They’re going up against the Big Dogs. Led by Stephon Castle’s 21 points, all five of UConn’s starters scored double-digits against Alabama – while also stuffing the box score with 31 rebounds and 18 assists. Well-rounded doesn’t begin to describe the Huskies–or maybe it does, because smooth, polished, and rolling are other descriptors that come to mind. The Huskies have won every single tournament game by double-digits for the last two seasons. Either the win-streak ends in dramatic fashion from a Purdue team cursed/ blessed with all of the agony and ecstasy you only get in the NCAA tournament, or UConn joins the ranks of all-time dynasty. This is what “One Shining Moment” was made for.
