Whether it’s a recent release or a 2000’s classic, a rom-com or a satire, all 10 of these movies are bound to make you laugh out loud.
Superbad (2007)
This movie needs no introduction, but I’ll give you one anyway: Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, and Seth Rogan star in this coming-of-age comedy classic. It’s the end of high school and these nerds are ready to finally party. Securing the alcohol necessary for the good times proves to be a challenge, but with the help of the mono-monikered McLovin, it's one they’re definitely willing to take on.

The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018)
Let’s get one thing straight — I would watch Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon in just about anything. This black comedy and spy thriller is hilarious because of these two lead ladies; it’s an added bonus that the movie is pretty great overall. You will literally lol during this awesome riff on the 1977 James Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me.

21 Jump Street (2012)
Another mismatched pair — Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill — do not disappoint in this comedic remake of the 1980s television series. When the two cops go undercover at the local high school, they simultaneously have a challenging, yet fun time fitting in. Ever feel like you want to go back to high school? Watch this movie and those feelings will suddenly disappear.

The Benchwarmers (2006)
This movie may only have a score of 11% on Rotten Tomatoes, but the never-ending stream of quotable jokes make this movie more than worth a watch. Yes, it is stupid and silly, but it's oh so funny. Or at least that’s what I remember after watching it nearly 15 years ago when I was just a dorky pre-teen who found this sort of humor appealing.

Bad Teacher (2011)
This is by far my favorite Cameron Diaz film. It’s got quite the supporting cast too, with Jason Segel, Justin Timberlake, Lucy Punch, Phyllis Smith, and future stars Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart) and Finneas O’Connell (Billie Eilish’s brother). As Elizabeth, Diaz is not exactly the model teacher, but she sees yet another opportunity to quit and marry rich after substitute teacher Scott (Timberlake) arrives at school.

No Strings Attached (2011)
Somehow, Hollywood released this film the same year as Friends with Benefits, which starred Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. These movies could be siblings, maybe even twins, for all their similarities. Both tell stories about horny, good looking couples who nevertheless want to keep things low-key. No Strings Attached stars Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman, but is it the superior movie? Time to decide.

Sorry for Your Loss (2018)
Ken is a new dad who finds himself with a whole new set of problems after his own father passes away. Instead of a traditional funeral, Ken discovers that his father’s dying wish was for his ashes to be spread over his favorite baseball team’s field. It’s clearly in the dark comedy vein, but the movie also has as many life lessons as it does laughs.

Don’t Think Twice (2016)
Written and directed by acclaimed comedian Mike Birbiglia, this is a quiet film that packs a hard punch. The Commune, an improv troupe in NYC, struggles to find its footing after one of their members, Jack (Keegan-Michael Key), leaves to make it big on Saturday Night Live. It’s both funny and earnest, as it feels like an authentic look into the ups and downs of comedians’ lives.

Up in the Air (2009)
Starring George Clooney and Anna Kendrick, Up in the Air is a frequent flier dramedy about the trials and tribulations of spending so much time….well, up in the air. One of the earliest lead performances from Anna Kendrick, the chemistry between she and Clooney is oddly effective here. Come for the dark laughs about America's corporate culture, stay for the devastating, unexpected ending.

Mean Girls (2004)
Do we even need to explain why this is a comedy classic? Easily one of the most quotable movies of the early 2000s, Mean Girls is the ultimate guilty pleasure watch. It’s a movie that truly never gets old. To paraphrase one of the movie's many memorable lines, I heard Sling said to watch Mean Girls this week, so I watched Mean Girls this week.
