This isn't a loud, larger-than-life performance; Sukumaran plays a man who's spent his whole life swallowing frustration, and you can feel that pressure building under the surface. Parvathy Thiruvothu plays his wife, and their relationship carries a lot of the emotional weight of the film. Hakkim Shahjahan shows up as a cop with some shady motives of his own, and honestly, he steals a few scenes.

Nissam Basheer directs, working off a script by Sameer Abdul, and the film mixes a heist plot with family drama and social commentary. Jakes Bejoy handles the music, and the film’s “Anthem of Nobody” has already emerged as a song people can't stop talking about.

Is ‘I, Nobody’ Actually Good?

A lot of people loved the first half, with some calling it one of the best opening acts they've seen in a Malayalam film in a while. Critics have also cited its tight pacing and no wasted scenes, the kind of momentum that keeps you glued to your seat.
