Watch India vs New Zealand T20Is 2026 Live in the USA with Sling TV
Just months after India beat New Zealand in the 2026 T20 World Cup final, the two teams are set to face each other in a five-match T20I series in New Zealand. The series begins October 22 in Christchurch and runs through November 1, with matches across Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton. For Indian cricket fans in the USA, all five matches are available live on Willow HD with Sling TV.
Why is the India vs New Zealand T20I Series getting so much attention?

There is an obvious reason, and that’s the World Cup final rematch. But this is a completely new series and a different setting. New Zealand will have home conditions on their side, while India will be looking to build on their T20 momentum. There is also plenty happening within the Indian team itself. Shreyas Iyer continues to lead the T20I side, and the series gives fans another look at how this group is shaping up.
Who Will Lead India in the New Zealand T20Is?
Shreyas Iyer will captain India, with Tilak Varma as vice-captain.
The 16-member squad also includes:
- Abhishek Sharma
- Sanju Samson
- Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
- Ishan Kishan
- Axar Patel
- Shivam Dube
- Nitish Kumar Reddy
- Naman Dhir
- Prince Yadav
- Mayank Yadav
- Arshdeep Singh
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar
- Varun Chakaravarthy
- Kuldeep Yadav
There is plenty to keep an eye on here. India's top order has serious hitting power, while the bowling group has a mix of pace and spin. And then there is Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Why is Bhuvneshwar Kumar's return so interesting?
Bhuvneshwar is back in India's T20I squad after almost four years away from international cricket. His last T20I appearance came in November 2022, that too against New Zealand.
His return is particularly interesting because Jasprit Bumrah is absent from this T20I squad. Bhuvneshwar brings years of experience and, importantly, the ability to move the ball in conditions where swing can make a difference.
Can Vaibhav Sooryavanshi make another mark?
Indian fans will also have their eyes on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The teenager has already made a huge impression in his early international career, and he is now part of another five-match T20I series. He was also part of India's Asian Games gold-medal-winning team earlier this month.
What does New Zealand bring to the Series?
New Zealand will be led by Mitchell Santner, and the squad contains plenty of familiar white-ball names, including:
- Finn Allen
- Devon Conway
- Daryl Mitchell
- Michael Bracewell
- Lockie Ferguson and others
The Blackcaps have also brought back Adam Milne, while their pace attack is expected to play a big role in home conditions.
What is the schedule of India vs New Zealand T20Is?
Why Should You Watch All Five India vs New Zealand T20Is?
Five matches give both teams room to settle in and make changes. For India, it is another chance to see how the T20 side develops under Iyer. For New Zealand, it is an opportunity to play the T20 World Cup champions in front of their home crowd. And with the teams meeting again so soon after the World Cup final, every close game is likely to bring back memories of Ahmedabad.
The T20Is are also just the beginning of the tour. Once the five-match series ends on November 1, India and New Zealand will move into a five-match ODI series, followed by two Tests. So there is plenty more cricket coming after the T20Is.
