Synopsis:
Egyptian filmmaker Khaled Youssef, famed for directing more than 20 films, returns from a four-year hiatus to release the “Serroh Al-Batea” TV series during the 2023 Ramadan season.
The series revolves around a young man who searches for the secret of the Sultan Hamed mausoleum, which is located in a village in the Egyptian countryside. The search leads him through Egypt’s French colonial history, and he discovers that the mausoleum belongs to a man who played an important role in resisting the French occupation.
