Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City
LOL! Network
Forget stand-up comedians: Few entertainers of any type work as hard as Kevin Hart. From his acting in movies like the upcoming Borderlands, to his stand-up career and hosting gigs like Netflix’s Roast of Tom Brady, Hart keeps himself busy.
He also founded the comedy channel LOL! Network, which includes stand-up specials, TV shows like Everyone Hates Chris, and a smattering of movies. LOL! Network also has a ton of Hart’s own specials and shows, including his series Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City.
The show finds Hart exploring the comedy scenes all across the country, from hotspots like Chicago and Miami to smaller cities like Sacramento, Rochester and Memphis. Watch the live feed of LOL! Network in the video player above, or find it in your guide to watch select episodes of Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City on-demand.

Top Five (2014)
LOL! Network
Chris Rock’s film career has had its ups and downs, but without a doubt, Top Five is one of his best. (This is the part where we’re obligated to list our top five Chris Rock movies: Top Five, Head of State – also available on LOL! Network – CB4, New Jack City, and Madagascar, in no particular order).
As for this film, it’s a day-in-the-life of a comic and actor who is inspired by but pretty different from Rock, who also wrote and directed the movie. Top Five does a good job of balancing its humor with a serious and thoughtful examination of the costs and toll of being a celebrity. It also features a ton of funny cameos and a great supporting cast that includes Rosario Dawson, Gabrielle Union, J.B. Smoove, and Kevin Hart.
Malcolm & Eddie
GET Comedy
Starring former Cosby Show actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner and stand-up comedian Eddie Griffin, Malcolm & Eddie is an Odd Couple-style sitcom that ran for four seasons on UPN from 1996-2000. The show’s premise borrows from both Friends and Cheers, as it sees the titular buddies buying a bar as they try to navigate the pressures of young adulthood. Both actors are charming and with 88 episodes across four seasons, there’s plenty of them to watch, both live and on-demand.
First Sunday (2008)
Cinevault
As he proved in movies like Are We There Yet? and 21 Jump Street, Ice Cube is an underrated comic actor. In the 2008 hit First Sunday, Cube teams with Tracy Morgan for a heist comedy in which they attempt to rob a church. With additional roles for Katt Williams, Rickey Smiley, and Clifton Powell, First Sunday is also a reunion of the stars of the third Friday movie, Friday After Next.
Watch First Sunday live on Cinevault on Friday, Aug. 16 at 9:15pm ET.
Benson
GET Comedy
TV-watchers of a certain age will remember the ABC sitcom Benson, which ran for seven seasons and won its star Robert Guillaume an Emmy Award in 1985. A spin-off of the show Soap (which is also on GET Comedy), Guillaume starred as Benson DuBois, the head of household for a widowed governor. Throughout the series, Benson moves up the ladder, eventually becoming Lt. Governor and squaring off in an election against his former boss in the series finale (spoiler alert: it ends on a cliffhanger). Guillaume’s dry, detached comic style was perfect for the material, and future sitcom legend Jerry Seinfeld was featured in a few episodes from season 2.
Laffapalooza Volume 5
FilmRise Comedy
Lastly, we have to call out a stand-up compilation featuring the hardest-working man in show business. No, we're not talking about Kevin Hart – although he also appears in this special – we're referring to Jamie Foxx, who hosts Laffapalooza 5 (other volumes are available as well). This hour-long special also features sets from Dennis Gaxiola, Dominique, Deon Cole, Howie Bell, and Earthquake. Follow this link to watch now on FilmRise Comedy!
