'Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde' - Details on the New Special

Erika Jayne is moving on up from Beverly Hills to Las Vegas in her new 2-hour special. Here are the details and how to watch with Sling TV.

Ever since she first appeared in the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2015, Erika Jayne (fka Erika Girardi) has become one of the most polarizing figures on reality television. Not only has she had various conflicts with her RHOBH castmates, but she has been caught up in real world scandals as well, mostly thanks to the alleged fraud of her now-ex husband Thomas Girardi.

It has been a lot for Jayne to deal with, to say nothing of the pressures that come with her career as a singer. With the new special Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde – which premieres Wed., March 6 at 9pm ET on Bravo – Jayne has the chance to address all of it outside of the constraints of RHOBH and her castmates. First off, Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde is not a new show or spin-off. Rather, it’s a 2-hour documentary that centers on the launch of Erika’s Las Vegas residency “Bet It All on Blonde,” which ran for a dozen performances at the House of Blues Mandalay Bay last fall. As such, the documentary is largely focused on the behind-the-scenes effort to get the residency off the ground (this being Erika, you know there was no shortage of drama backstage).

That said, in its quieter moments, Bet It All on Blonde allows Erika to address some of the issues that have been swirling around her personal life. Admitting that, “I would be a liar if I said it was 100% out of my mind,” Jayne alludes to her ex-husband’s legal issues in the trailer when she says, “Tom’s behavior was bad for three years — the s**t this man did, the fallout is great.” Her 84-year-old ex claims to suffer from late-onset Alzheimer's disease and now “lives in a locked memory care ward of an Orange County nursing home,” according to the Los Angeles Times. However, a federal judge ruled earlier this year that Girardi is competent to stand trial for fraud, and his case is scheduled to begin in May.

Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde is far more focused on immediate challenges, like learning her choreography, not going over budget, and remembering the lyrics to her songs. Those issues are all referenced in the trailer, which you can watch above. Will Erika’s residency go off without a hitch, or will betting on herself turn out to be another bad investment? Tune-in to Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde Wed., March 6 at 9pm ET on Bravo out to find out!
