With the Fall TV season getting underway, we’re spotlighting some of the most popular networks available on Sling. Next up is Bravo, which is available to all Sling Blue subscribers.
Can’t Miss Show
If you get a kick out of Real Salt Lake, wait until you meet the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
The hit Bravo franchise is launching a new series in the Utah state capitol this fall. Premiering Wednesday, Nov. 11, the newest Housewives series will focus on a diverse group of women of various faiths — Islamic, Jewish, Pentecostal, and yes, Mormon — as they navigate the upper-crust SLC social scene where “perfection is not an aspiration, it’s a mandate.” Check out a trailer for the show's debut season below.
In addition to the newest Housewives franchise, the OG — The Real Housewives of Orange County (click here to watch)— returns for its 15th season tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 14. This season will find a new (ex) housewife, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, “a soon to be divorcee who is ready to kick off the next chapter of her life with a little fun in the OC,” joining returning cast members Shannon Storms Beador, Kelly Dodd, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke. Along with the usual drama, this season will see the “impact of coronavirus [taking] its toll on the women and their relationships at home and with each other as they each try to adjust to their new reality.”
What Else is On?
If you’re a fan of the Housewives and other Bravo shows, the new talk show Bravo’s Chat Room (click here to watch) will keep you in the loop with all the juicy scoops. Hosts Hannah Berner of Summer House, Gizelle Bryant of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Kate Chastain of Below Deck, and Porsha Williams of The Real Housewives of Atlanta come together twice a week, Sundays and Mondays at 10:30pm ET, to discuss all the latest news in the Bravo-verse, as well as the larger galaxy of pop culture.
Cash Cab — the long-running “game show in a taxi” (click here to watch) — is airing new episodes Wednesdays at 11:30pm ET. Comedian Ben Bailey is still serving as host/ driver for the show, and with its familiar format (Red Light Challenges, Shout-Outs, and Video Bonus questions) and Bailey's warmth and wit, Cash Cab remains a fun, feel-good favorite.
What Else is Coming Up?
Now that the latest season of Below Deck: Mediterranean has anchored at the dock, the original series is once again getting ready to set sail. Premiering on Monday, Nov. 2, season 8 of Below Deck (click here to watch) will see Captain Lee reuniting with former Bosun Eddie Lucas, as they and an all-new crew set sail in the Caribbean as the coronavirus crisis starts to grip the outside world. With the crew’s oversized personalities and the passenger’s outsized appetites — which this year apparently includes eating food off of an actual woman — Below Deck promises to be as addictive as ever.
And finally, the genteel South Carolina socialites are back for season 7 of Southern Charm (click here to watch). This season will find three new faces — Leva Bonaparte, Madison LeCroy, and John Pringle — joining Craig Conover, Shep Rose, Kathryn Calhoun Dennis, and Austen Kroll, as they navigate not only the coronavirus pandemic, but face the reckoning of southern leaders like Kathryn’s direct ancestor, John C. Calhoun.
