4 Reasons to Add AMC+ To Your Sling Subscription This October
From early premieres of shows like 'The Walking Dead' to ad-free 'Mad Men', there's never been a better time to sign up for AMC+.
If you’re craving quality, commercial-free television, it's a great time to add AMC+ to your Sling TV package. However, with a hotly anticipated new episode from season 10 of The Walking Dead and other Fall premieres available early to AMC+ subscribers, as well as the ultimate collection of fan favorite Horror movies, October is an especially good time to add it to your existing Sling service.

AMC+ bundles an ad-free version of AMC with the three top collections of genre-defying programming: Sundance Now, home to highly addictive dramas and international series like Riviera and A Discovery of Witches; IFC Unlimited, which features hundreds of independent films from every genre; and Shudder, a horror-lover’s dream (or would that be nightmare?) come true.
Here are four more reasons why you should add AMC+ to your Sling subscription for just $7 per month.
Be Among the First To Venture to the ‘World Beyond’

In July, The Walking Dead producers announced that Season 11 will be the final season of the main franchise, but the larger world of TWD is just beginning to open up. Fear the Walking Dead returns for its sixth season on Oct. 11 and a new series from the creators of The Walking Dead—The Walking Dead: World Beyond is about to launch. AMC+ subscribers can catch the season premieres of all three early and ad-free (TWD and World Beyond starting beginning Oct. 1).
New Shows You’re Sure To Love

AMC is finally getting into the episodic anthology game with the new series Soulmates. The premise is a meaty one: In the near future, scientists identify a “soul particle” which they can use to identify our soulmates. Each episode of the first season follows a different story, as the characters (and culture) grapple with the implications of such profound technology. Featuring a loaded cast that includes Bill Skarsgård (It), Sarah Snook (Succession), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Malin Akerman (Billions), and Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), Soulmates has already been picked up for a second season. Catch the premiere episode on AMC+ starting Oct. 1 before it makes its AMC debut on Monday, Oct. 5.
AMC+ will also debut programming exclusive to the platform. Gangs of London will debut with its first three episodes on Oct. 1, with new episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays. The show—co-created by The Raid director Gareth Evans—is an intense, action-heavy look at London’s multicultural criminal unworld, and it too has been renewed for a second season.
The New Home of 'Mad Men'

Don Draper and the rest of the Sterling Cooper crew have returned to where it all began: All seven seasons and 92 episodes of the award-winning Mad Men are now streaming commercial-free on AMC+. One of the smartest and most influential shows of this century, Mad Men takes viewers into the booze-soaked boardrooms of a Madison Avenue ad agency while traversing the tumultuous and transformative 1960’s. Filled with complex characters and clever storylines, the rewatchability of Mad Men makes it well worth adding AMC+.
Shudder’s Time To Shine

October is our spookiest month and if you’re looking to scare up some fun, Shudder has more frightful delights than a haunted house. Beyond their extensive, thoughtfully curated horror library of both original films and licensed favorites, Shudder will debut special Halloween episodes of favorites like The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs and Creepshow. And with five new original films arriving before Halloween, Shudder is the horror movie version of an XL pillowcase filled with candy.
