DIY Network is getting a fix up courtesy of Chip and Joanna Gaines.
In a joint venture with Discovery, the celebrity couple behind Fixer Upper is launching their own network, when Magnolia Network replaces DIY on Sling TV later this year. And although Magnolia’s debut has been delayed by the coronavirus crisis, viewers can get a sneak peek this weekend.
Beginning at 5pm ET on Sunday, April 26, the Gaines' will provide a look at what viewers can expect with “Magnolia Presents: A Look Back & A Look Ahead.” The four-hour special will feature special episodes of Fixer Upper -- including the pilot, finale, and one of their most emotional moments -- each supplemented with new behind-the-scenes footage.
At 8pm, Chip and Joanna will offer an advance look at other programming coming to Magnolia. New series include Family Dinner hosted by Andrew Zimmern, and the English import Bespoke Kitchens. There’s also Growing Floret, a new show focusing on Floret Flower Farm founder Erin Benzakein and her attempt to turn “more than 20 acres of newly acquired, chemically damaged and overfarmed land into an extension of their fully functioning, self-sustaining, organic flower farm.”
So if you want a sneak preview of what to look forward to in the future (and who doesn’t right now?) be sure to tune in Sunday night to this special advance preview of Magnolia Network.
