American Gods (Starz)
This adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s beloved novel returns for a third season after an uneven second that suffered from gossipy behind-the-scenes tumult. Ian McShane stalwartly leads a cast that includes newcomers Marilyn Manson and Danny Trejo on a long, strange journey that spends these episodes in a tiny Wisconsin town. - Janine Schaults
Atlanta (FX)
A lot has changed for the cast of Atlanta since the second season aired in 2018, but we recently got news that the FX series is shooting Seasons 3 and 4 back-to-back, with both expected to air in 2021. It sounds like the third season will pick up where we left off, with Ern (Donald Glover) and Paper Boi heading off to tour Europe, while the fourth season will largely be set back in Atlanta. We can’t wait for both. - Mark Schiff
Awkwafina is Nora From Queens (Comedy Central)
Renewed for a second season before the first barely aired, this comedy based on the life and misadventures of rapper/actress/writer Awkwafina brought joy and laughter into our existence - and that was in the pre-pandemic days of 2020. - JS
Beavis and Butt-Head (Comedy Central)
Moving to Comedy Central from MTV, the latest revival of the ‘90s animated hit will find the titular duo exploring “meta-themes relatable to both new and old fans – Gen X parents and their Gen Z kids.” Two seasons have already been ordered. - MS

Ahead of the Season 5 finale, AMC announced that this Breaking Bad spin-off would be returning for a super-sized final season of 13 episodes, bringing its total to 63, the same total as Breaking Bad. -MS

Dexter (Showtime)
Many might refuse to give this once-great drama another chance after its atrocious series finale in 2013, but there’s reasons to be hopeful about the reboot - namely, the return of star Michael C. Hall and original showrunner Clyde Phillips, who exited the serial-killer series a few years before it took a nosedive. - JS
Grown-ish (Freeform)
Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) contemplates leaving the bubble of college to pursue her fashion dreams. What would Dre and Bow say? -JS
Hip Hop Uncovered (FX)
This new six-part FX docu-series promises to take a fresh look at the rise of hip hop, as it “takes a deep dive into the paradox of America’s criminalization of the genre and its fascination with the street culture that created it and still exists within it.” -MS
Impeachment: American Crime Story (FX)
The third installment of this FX series was originally scheduled to run during the fall election season, but like so many things, the pandemic screwed it up. As its title suggests, this edition will focus on the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinski scandal, with Clive Owen and Beanie Feldstein assuming those roles. -MS
Impractical Jokers (truTV)
I think this show gets better as time goes on since I find it outrageous that people still don't recognize these prankers. Impractical Jokers is seriously silly but always hilarious. - Peyton Lombardo

After 14 years and untold dramas, the Kardashian clan is saying goodbye to the show that put the family firmly and incessantly in the spotlight. Something tells us, however, that this won’t be the last we’ll be hearing from them. - JS
Killing Eve (AMC)
Sex Education’s Laura Neal is on board for the fourth season of this twisty, cat-and-mouse drama, which means we can expect an amped up sardonic tone and quippy banter truly worthy of Eve (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle (Jodie Comer). Just keep the fabulous outfits coming! -JS
Reservation Dogs (FX)
Taika Waititi teams up with Native American writer and director Sterlin Harjo for a half-hour comedy following the crime-filled hijinks of four Native teens in rural Oklahoma. -JS
Ripley (Showtime)
No, this isn’t an Aliens spin-off, but an adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith book series starring Fleabag’s Andrew Scott and written and directed by Oscar-winner Steven Zaillian. The eight-episode first season will focus on “a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, [who] is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom's acceptance of the job is the first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud and murder.” - MS

The first season of this TNT sci-fi parable ended with a pretty big twist, and the second season looks like it will explore new territory with the addition of Sean Bean to the cast. -MS
The Watch (BBC America)
Terry Pratchet’s Discworld series finally gets its inevitable adaptation with this new BBC America series that focuses on the guard protecting the city of Ankh-Morpork. Vikings (HISTORY)
Following the release of the final 10 episodes on Amazon, the show will return to HISTORY as it wraps up the saga of the warring norsemen. - MS
