His coronation comes about eight months after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, at the age of 96. What time does King Charles’ coronation begin?

The ceremony itself is expected to begin at 6am ET/ 3am PT (11am British Standard Time). However, most coverage of the coronation will begin an hour earlier, at 5am ET/ 2am PT. The coronation ceremony is expected to last about two hours and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury at Westminster Abbey.
