Get ready to take another trip up Schitt’s Creek.
Now that the Emmy-sweeping comedy series has finished up it’s original run, Schitt’s Creek is coming to Comedy Central for a full-series rebroadcast. Beginning tonight at pm 8 ET, Comedy Central will air all six seasons of the show in five-episode blocks airing each Friday (this is where we tell you to set your complimentary DVR).
Starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Daniel Levy, Annie Murphy, and Chris Elliott, Schitt’s Creek is about a posh and spoiled family that suddenly goes broke and is forced to move to the titular town, which they once bought for a laugh. At the Emmy Awards last month, Schitt’s Creek became the first show “to sweep all categories in its field on the main Emmy telecast,” including both dramas and comedies, according to Deadline. And after picking up an additional two awards at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, it also set a new record for the most wins by any comedy series in a single season, with nine.
It’s also one of the rare shows that continues to get better as it goes on, culminating in a series finale that was praised for both its humor and heart. Start at the beginning of the Creek tonight on Comedy Central.
