It’s the most wonderful time of the year—college football bowl season! With all the interesting matchups available on Sling this year, sometimes you just don’t have enough time to watch it all live. Today we enabled Cloud DVR on ESPN channels, so you can enjoy your favorite sports on your time. Plus, we are giving you full DVR controls on all recordable channels. So whether you need a siesta during the Fiesta Bowl or want to pause the Peach Bowl, Sling has you covered.
Record ESPN Channels
Slingers are now able to record programming from ESPN, ESPN2, ACC Network, SEC Network, ESPN Bases Loaded, ESPN Deportes, ESPN Goal Line, ESPNEWS and ESPNU. So if they want to watch their favorite team winning an epic bowl game over and over, now they can!
Digital networks, including ESPN3, ACC Network Extra and SEC Network+ are not eligible for recording via Cloud DVR on Sling.
Full Player Controls on All DVR Channels
Slingers can now pause, rewind or fast-forward through any recorded programs, and even skip the commercials. Previously, recordings on select channels would automatically redirect viewers to on-demand content, if available. With this update, viewers can now watch the version they recorded and fast-forward through commercials, saving time to watch the shows they love, without interruption.
Get All the Benefits of Cloud DVR on Sling
Cloud DVR on Sling is the most flexible DVR in streaming, providing options that other services don’t. With Sling, subscribers can record up to 50 hours of programming and keep the recordings for as long as they are a subscriber, and even protect recordings from being deleted.
Cloud DVR is available for $5 per month with a Sling base subscription. To add Cloud DVR to a Sling TV subscription, Slingers can choose “Change Subscription” on the “My Account” page of sling.com.
