Connecting with loved ones will undeniably look different this Thanksgiving, especially given the CDC’s recent guidelines. That doesn’t mean traditions have to end completely. A recent YouGov survey* found:
Almost one in five (18%) Americans are happy / excited at the prospect of staying home this holiday season.
Nearly three-fourths (72%) of Americans believe that virtual connection tools are more important now than ever.
One in five people plan to watch a TV show or movie with others virtually through a co-viewing app.
With SLING TV’s new Watch Party feature, friends and family can skip the awkward Thanksgiving conversation and instead bond over one of Thanksgiving’s time-honored traditions — watching TV together — no matter where they are celebrating.
And Watch Party allows customers to watch live programming with up to three other people (who do not have to be SLING TV subscribers), while interacting in real-time video and text chat. This year, “get together” to catch some Thanksgiving greats on SLING TV, including:
Freeform’s Thanksgiving Movie Marathon (SLING Orange/$30 mo.)
