Will SLING work on my older device?
The SLING app is compatible with the devices and versions listed above that can still receive operating system (OS) updates from their manufacturer. Older devices may not be able to support updates to streaming apps, including SLING. When this happens, manufacturers will stop releasing OS updates to these devices.
SLING may work on these older devices, however, as they cannot receive updates, the SLING app may become more unstable over time, and may eventually stop working altogether. The section below details these devices that are no longer receiving updates, and devices that we’ve needed to discontinue support on.
