I saw Destination Moon when it first came out, I was 9 at the time. It had a big impact. I remember arguing with my teacher about going to the moon; my idea after seeing the film was that only a lack of will prevented us from doing it. My 2nd grade (in more ways than one) teacher said it would never happen and to stop daydreaming about it. About seven years later Sputnik went up and changed a lot of attitudes, at least among adults. Kids already knew better. A clear DVD is available. A must in any collection IMHO.
