Last night, ABC aired "Our Thanks" (above), which is definitely the "Scrubs" Season 9 finale -- and probably the finale for the series, full stop. Is it time for the show to graciously exit the stage? Or was that time actually a few years ago? Our thoughts are after the jump.

The character carousel continues on "Lost," with this week's episode focusing on Sawyer, who has been absent from the storyline since scrambling into the oceanfront cave with Other Locke four weeks ago. Presumably, Sawyer has been lying low in the jungle, waiting for guidance; why he wasn't part of the Temple siege, and where he was when all that violence was going down, are both unclear. But while Sawyer is on Team Other Locke (for the moment), he hasn't been bewitched/brainwashed/possessed like Claire and Sayid have. It's a little surprising to see Kate still in the fold with Other Locke: She witnessed his deadly warpath at the Temple and hasn't been actively indoctrinated to the dark side. Seems she's sticking around for Claire, even if her commitment and understanding of the situation are clumsily muted. In an ever-emerging "Survivor"-like structure, we're getting a whole lot of bouncing between the sides, an approach that worked out well last week with Ben Linus. This week...not as much. The full recap is after the jump.
continue readingTiger Woods has just announced that he plans to return to the PGA Tour to compete in the 2010 Masters tournament, which begin April 8. Woods said in a statement, "The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect. After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I'm ready to start my season at Augusta." This is of course only part of the Tiger news this week; though "The View" notes above that he and his wife Elin have reportedly moved back in with each other, Radar Online then contradicted their scoop yesterday. This is exhausting, but I can help: For all the tiger news you need, click here.
People probably have lots of reasons not to visit Florida. And when I say "people," I mean "people other than me," because hello, Disney World. But on last night's episode of "The Colbert Report," Stephen addressed the latest reason to avoid the state: monkey on the lam! See it above; the rest of last night's late-night highlights are after the jump.

There's no excuse for you not to know about Jerry Seinfeld's new unscripted TV show, "The Marriage Ref": he talked it up last week on "The Late Show," he was on "Live with Regis and Kelly" this morning, and last night, he stopped by "The Daily Show." See the interview above; the rest of last night's late-night highlights are after the jump.

The age-old war between Jacob and The Man in Black ratcheted up in last week's ultraviolent episode of "Lost," with our castaways and candidates further aligning themselves around the conflict. On Team Jacob, we have Jack, Hurley, Jin, Sun, Lapidas, Miles, and Ilana. Other Locke leads a semi-possessed and/or otherwise helpless army featuring Claire, Sayid, probably Sawyer, and (for the time being) a caught-up-in-the-madness Kate. Things are bound to shift and change within the allegiances; I imagine that the struggle for control of the candidates will make up the bulk of the drama down the stretch in an increasingly tribe vs. tribe kind of way, with characters flipping between the sides. There will be battles, for sure. But in these kinds of conflicts of nature, it's the mischievous hiding-in-plain sight bad guys that typically reap the most damage. It's happened before...
Perpetually working from a position of disadvantage (either by his own design or by estrangement resulting from harmful actions), Benjamin Linus is arguably the richest character on the show. We've seen him grow up in "Lost"-land, his evolution and contortions a personal parallel to the island's inherent struggles. The fact that he's still a somewhat sympathetic character, given all that he's done, is as much a credit to the way that Linus has been narratively constructed, as it is to Michael Emerson's portrayal. You never know what you're going to get from Ben, but it's bound to be impactful. Reeling in the wake of murdering Jacob, Ben has been laying low so far this season. And while it seems that he's "learned his lesson" (an idea that's further reinforced in this episode), I'm not buying it. The full recap is after the jump.
David Letterman is a man of many skills, including tremendous grocery-bagging speed. Or so he thinks. On last night's "Late Show," he faced off against the nation's defending grocery-bagging champion, and nearly tied...with only minor cheating. See it above, and enjoy the rest of last night's late-night highlights after the jump.

These days, Chris Parnell should be best known for voicing Cyril on "Archer." (He probably is best known for voicing the Helping Hand in the Hamburger Helper ads). But just a few short years ago, he made viral-video history opposite Andy Samberg in the deathless "SNL" Digital Short "Lazy Sunday" -- and last night on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," he revisited past glory by performing the song live. Watch it above, and hit "continue reading" for the rest of last night's late-night highlights.

Chatroulette is a new(ish) website that connects you with other internet users who have webcams, and allows you to talk to each other. But is this an experience you would actually enjoy? The news media has had its chance to investigate; above, "The Daily Show" takes its turn. After the jump: the rest of last night's late-night highlights.
