Latest posts about House
Bummer! EW's Michael Ausiello is reporting that original "House" team member and fan-favorite Jennifer Morrison (pictured above, in happier times), is leaving the show. Apparently, her character Cameron won't be killed off like Obama staffer Kal Penn was, and may be back for a few guest appearances.
But why the departure, when "House" creator David Shore had previously promised more screen time for Morrison? Shelley Long syndrome? Caruso-itis? Or a just bad attack of showrunner fever? I'm not really qualified to make a diagnosis, but I wish Morrison -- and her worried supporters -- a speedy recovery.
Friday's announcement that "House" is the most popular TV show in the world (more than 88.18 million viewers in 66 countries), got us thinking: what are the least popular TV shows in the world? We did a little number-crunching, and came up with the following list:
"Survivor: Jeff Probst's Basement"
"Supply of Big Laughing Nite Show with Cone O'Brian"
"My Own Worst Enema"
"The Big Fat Slob and His Sorta Hot Wife"
"Cheney's House!"
"Top Jihadist"
"Homely Vampires"
"Spongebob Scientologypants"
"I'm in North Korea...Get Me Out of Here!"
"The Quiznos Product Placement Hour"
"Pantless McLaughlin Group"
"Law and Order: Special Secretions Unit"
"Gary Unmarried"

And definitely don't click on this.) But what if Penn's unusual career trajectory becomes...not that unusual? What if the other "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" cast members also sought government jobs -- what then? My dear friend and esteemed former colleague Linda Holmes, at NPR's Monkey See blog, has some guesses.
Most of us are fine, upstanding citizens who would never think to rob money from the networks by stealing TV shows via the internet (or by putting them there ourselves). So since you probably don't have any direct experience with it yourself, you might wonder which shows are most heavily represented on BitTorrent. Guess what? You can see seven of those ten shows right here, without the drain on your home network that downloading presents ... oh, and also without technically breaking the law. The latest episode of BitTorrent's #2 TV series is above, but let me also direct you to the other five: "24," "Smallville," "Battlestar Galactica," "Fringe," "The Simpsons," and "Knight Rider."
There: I put you on the straight and narrow. I'm the Bishop to your Jean Valjean. YOU'RE WELCOME.
Yeah, his name is Kal Penn, and he’s done some serious acting, but I’m just impressed that...
