Tracy Morgan to Star in Volkswagen's Super Bowl Ads

"30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan is no stranger to endorsing products -- he plugs Snuggies and "Maury" on "Late Night," above -- but soon his commercial career is really going to hit the big time. Morgan will star in Volkswagen's Super Bowl ad campaign, called "Punch Dub." The ads will expose the "history" of the punch buggy game, which you know, of course, as the reason your parents pulled over on that family trip to the lake 17 years ago. Or maybe that's just me.
Either way, if the ads are anywhere near as funny as the promotional clip after the jump, we're in good hands. Meet the godfather of the punch buggy game, Sluggy Patterson:
