The name Jennifer Lopez brings to mind a lot of things. Hoop earrings, obviously, and the curvy "Glow by J-Lo" perfume bottle that seems to be wearing a diamond belly-chain.

A few things that she doesn't remind me of include smoky Irish bars in New York City, corporate lawyers, and Neil Patrick Harris. But that's all about to change! J.Lo has just confirmed that she's going to be guest-starring on "How I Met Your Mother" this March. There's no word yet as to the character she'll play, but there are also rumors that she'll be appearing on "Glee" as well (singing and/or doing some kind of dance number, I hope). Her rapidly expanding repertoire is obviously meant to create some buzz around her new album, "Love," which drops in April.

I have a few guesses about her "HIMYM" character:

1) No matter who she plays, Barney will hit on her, and make some kind of joke about her butt. Moving on.

2) Since she always plays the working girl (cleaning lady, wedding planner, etc.), she'll definitely be someone who works with her hands, preferably in a silly uniform. The Hot Bartender role was already nabbed by Stacy Keibler, so maybe she'll be a plumber who arrives to fix Barney's clogged toilet, or perhaps a mail lady delivering flowers for Robin from a secret admirer.

3) While it's pretty inconceivable that someone like Jennifer Lopez would stumble into McLaren's, she just might under the following circumstances: she's lost, she's friends with the Hot Bartender, and/or she's been forced to go for someone's birthday.

4) We can rule out Our Mother, because we've already seen Our Mother's ankle, and it was not a perfect toasty golden bronze like I'm sure J-Lo's ankles are. BUT -- maybe she's a member of Our Mother's band? This brings us back to the singing possibility, which would be awesome. Stay tuned!
