This morning, James Taylor and Carole King went on the fourth hour of "Today" to promote the tour they're doing together, in efforts to suck every last dollar from baby boomers that hasn't already been allocated to their children's college tuitions. Taylor and King intend to use the massive ticket sales to buy more mink coats with which to line their respective soild gold bathtubs. I know that doesn't sound very impressive, but please take into consideration that both of their bathtubs are the size of four two-story homes, and that the faucets run alternating hot and cold streams of caviar. Look, what I'm saying is that James Taylor and Carole King are two of the richest singer/songwriters in the world, ever. If you combine the publishing rights to all the hit songs they wrote and/or performed on, factor in the concert tickets they'll sell to literally everybody over 28 who doesn't know who Ke$ha is and doesn't know how to use the DVR, then subtract the Gross National Product of France, you'll have enough money left to have sex with Demi Moore in that movie, upwards of 17,000 times. And not even Demi Moore wants to have sex that many times! She is just a human woman.
Anyway: above, you can see King and Taylor chatting with Hoda and Kathie Lee about the good old days at the Troubadour, when Taylor still had a porn-y mustache. Their reunion tour starts in Australia this March, which means that kangaroos only have two months to empty their pounches and fork over their sweet gold coins to the people responsible for "You've Got a Friend." Chop chop, 'roos!
