New York Post Hits Grand Slam With A-HOLE Headline

I feel sorry for people who don’t get to delight in the genius of the New York Post headlines writers on a daily basis. I hope when the Post is web-only, they still go with screaming, low-brow headlines like this one:
A-HOLE
Alex digs
himself
in deeper
as ’roid
crisis rages
I defy anyone to sum up the entire Alex Rodriguez steroid scandal any better than that in five letters give or take a hyphen. It’s one of their best headlines ever, right up there with “AXIS OF WEASEL” and “HOLY SHIITE” but not quite as good as the greatest headline ever written: “HEADLESS BODY IN TOPLESS BAR.”
As for A-Rod, he lost me when he screwed around with Madonna. That’s just gross.
